Officially back in the race! I am happy to report that on Friday December 11, 2020 I pulled papers to run for a second term on the Select Board.
I still believe the Select Board sets the tone for the entire Town of Andover. Having a skilled, hard working, efficient board is critical to the successful management of our community. The last few years have included more issues than I had imagined we would be facing as a community. Columbia Gas explosions, Black Lives Matter & Covid 19 have highlighted most of the front page. While we continue to work through those issues, we also focused on our financial wellbeing, started the Ballardvale Fire Station project and put the pieces in motion to see the Historic Mill District come to life.
I am proud to say that I have lived in Andover for 25 years. During that time I have served on many volunteer committees, including the Lowell Junction Interchange Task Force, Tri-Town I93 Interchange Task Force and chair of the Andover Youth Center Building Committee. Throughout my thirty year career I have worked as a Town Planner, Land Planner and Landscape Architect, and I have grown my own Andover based business for over eighteen years.
Over the next three years we will be reviewing many important issues, including our residential and commercial tax rates, economic development opportunities, expansion/renovation of our schools and the renewal of our union contracts. To be successful on these issues we will need a Select Board that continues to work together efficiently and cooperatively. Please join me in my run for Selectmen, and together we can reinforce the values of hard work, respect and cooperation.
To be successful I need your help. If you would like to get involved please follow the links on this page to volunteer and contribute.
Thank you, and please remember to get out and VOTE!
